Hi, my name is Emily and I dream about all the good (aka yarn) in the world.🧶 My aunt taught me how to crochet and knit when I was a child, but I was too impatient and following patterns gave me anxiety. The best I can do now is make little wash clothes and potholders. 😥☁️ I picked up fiber arts again during the pandemic and I was hooked! ⛰️Follow my journey and let's connect!

Art is My Therapy

Like spinning, life is a balance of giving and taking. If you take too much, the yarn snaps and breaks. Alternatively, if you give too much, the yarn is underspun. It’s almost like an intricate dance that takes years - and maybe even a lifetime - to learn and appreciate.

My favorite dye materials to work with are marigold and logwood, both easy to use and colorfast. It feels so magical trying out different colors and combinations! 💛💜
